at number 10 we have Garnet Montana USA if I ever go to Montana I'm gonna stick to eating steaks and walking around to the mountains I think I'd rather run into a full-grown Grizzly before I would end up in a town filled with ghosts well actually no if I run into a ghost the worst thing that would happen is maybe it would scare me so bad I would leave a hot dookie in my fresh jeans but a Grizzly California USA when we're talking about ghost towns you can bet we're going to cover a lot of places that used to be packed with shiny rocks especially in America if you were in the USA back in the 1800s and you weren't trying to dig up a bunch of rocks then what were you doing you're a huge nerd what did you spend your time trying to figure out a cure for smallpox get out of here you dork well Bodhi is a big time Gold Rush town it's estimated in the late 1800s Bode was the second largest town in all of California with ghost town on Earth around 7 000 people it really didn't take a lot to be a metropolis back then you just needed a well a good Saloon and then you were set the gold deposit was found by the patriarch of the Bodhi family he didn't get to enjoy his findings though because he died in a blizzard not long after his family built the town and then named it after him it said that his ghost still haunts the land probably because he's so salty he never got to get rich and fat off his findings you can visit this town it's known as one of the best preserved ghost towns in all of America because of the dry climate the buildings are in great shape and number six we have put land France this ghost town is the site of one of the many horrible acts carried out by the Nazis in 1944 everyone in the town was forced into buildings by 90 troops these buildings were then set on fire and anyone who tried to run for safety was shot out of the several hundred people who lived here only seven people survived how did they do this well they had to cover themselves in the dead bodies of their friends and family now the town has never been repaired it stands as a symbol to remember those who lost their lives in the brutal attacks by the Nazis and paranormal investigators have visited the late 2000s when tourists started heading up there to bring a little more life to the area now there's 20 residents who live there only in the summertime to work at the town's only Hotel this place isn't really high in my lists of must visits I think I'm gonna hit up Turks and Caicos and get drunk on a beach before it freeze my toes off and a former coal mining town also if you do plan on visiting this winter wonderland the only hotel in town is said to be haunted strange noises can be heard at night and a tall black figure has been said to walk around the perimeter of the building at number four we have Pell Town Ohio USA what a wonderful name I heard they have an amazing cotton candy store and none of the schools have demons in them well hell town is a focal point of many conspiracy theories the land was bought by the government years ago and all the people living there were told to leave speculation has this happened because it was a chemical spill and the government didn't want to admit their massive screw-up now the town is left untouched but there are rumors that there is a giant mutated Beast created by the chemical spill that walks around the area not really haunted but a giant monster is in the same vein at number three we have Crypt yet Ukraine if you guys are part of the most amazing top 10 family then you probably know I put this place on a lot of lists but it's hard to pass it up Crypt is the closest city to the Chernobyl nuclear plant and it's no wonder why it's a ghost town turns out people don't like dying in a radiated death the disaster happened back on April 26 1986 and it wasn't long after that that everyone started running in the opposite direction now vegetation has taken over most of the town but there are a few residents who have returned but why is it haunted well there is the black crow of Chernobyl also called the black demon Wing creature and many other names it said that this thing was seen on the day of the explosion and some people believe that the demon himself caused the reactor to explode now the Beast stops the land waiting for I guess another Power Plant to be built I don't know what it wants at number two we have Port Arthur Tasmania there are a few places in history that you can call hell on on Earth but this is definitely one of them Port Arthur was once the site of a brutal English prison the worst criminals in Britain were exiled to this island and it wasn't anything like getting sent to Club Med I can promise you there wasn't a mojito in sight the British government would practice psychological experiments on the inmates and this was back in the 1800s so you can only imagine lobotomies and other horrific practices were performed there the living conditions were so horrible that inmates would kill each other so they could get the death penalty I mean you could cut out the middleman and just kill yourself but to each his own I guess now you can go on tours through the abandoned prison and I don't think I need to explain to you why this place is haunted and number one on our list is pobaglia Italy for our number one spot we've picked a place that has centuries of grotesque history to go along with it in the mid-12th century This Island was used as a place to dump people who were dying from the plague thousands of bodies were burned on this island and going to the the island was non-optional if it was suspected that you had the Black Death they sent you and you stayed there until you suffered to death from this horrible sickness after all this plagueness was done it was a pretty chill spot until 1922 when a mental institution was built on the island it said that the head doctor would perform terrible experiments on all the people he later went mad and killed himself the shell of the institution still stands and you can go visit it if you want also fun fact about the island it's said to be very haunted and there were so many people burned on the island that the soil is 50 human remains but that's probably just an urban legend who knows starting off at number 10 the Shanghai Tunnels in Portland Oregon Portland was one of the most dangerous ports in the United States during the early 19th century and it was the epicenter of shanghang a form of human trafficking it's crazy to think human trafficking still happens today and tunnels are still the way to do it according to the local lore swinders preyed upon unsuspected men in the local salons which were often outfitted with trap doors that deposited the victims directly into a this list we have Crescent Hotel Erica Springs Arkansas since its construction to 1886 the Crescent Hotel has served several purposes Luxury Resorts Conservatory for young women junior college but the strangest mark on its history came in 1937 when he got a new owner Norman G Baker Baker was a millionaire inventor who decided to pose as a doctor despite having no medical training and turned the hotel into a hospital that can cure cancer well he was eventually found out and he was ran out of town although Reports say that his spirits found its way back to the site and found some other wordedly company too the now operating Crescent Hotel is said to be haunted by at least eight ghosts ranging from a five-year-old girl to a bearded man wearing a Victorian clothing one ghost is enough for me never mind eight of them and children ghosts I think those are the absolute scariest kind and number one we have trans Allegany Lunatic Asylum Western Virginia this foreboding Asylum began contraction in 1858 and opened to patients in 1864. the massive structure was designed by architect Richard Andrews to maximize sunlight and fresh air it was believed that the building itself would serve as a healing environment it was designed for 250 people housed at 2400 patients in crowded conditions I mean that's a pretty big range going from 250 to 2400. patients were physically restrained and often given inhumane treatments such as the electroshock therapy and lobotomies which was very popular back in the day after more than a century in operation the facility was forced to close in 94 which when you think about it wasn't too long ago within the last 30 years and it was due to the reforms and mental health and treatment and the deterioration of the building hundreds of patients died during the Asylum tenure and scores of guests and Ghost Hunters have claimed they're seeing shadowy figures roaming around the facility at number nine we have the Fairmont Hotel in Banff Canada if you have never been to Banff it is one of the most beautiful places in the whole world there's amazing skiing in the winter and in the summer it turns into a lush green Wonderland if you were a ghost this the ghost of a woman in a green dress Walking The Halls moaning for her lost love at number five we have Morgan house Callum pong India the estate formerly owned by the Morgans has a rather dark pass the house was lived in by Baron George Morgan and his wife back in the 1930s apparently Mr Morgan would spend a lot of his free time torturing his wife with them being in India and his wife having in Montego Bay Jamaica a beautiful mansion that used to be the home of the Palmers back in the 19th century the two were a loving couple or that's what the public thought Mr Palmer died one day of suspicious causes but Foul Play was inconclusive Annie Palmer took control of the property and people weren't too suspicious until her two following husbands and her parents died all without warning towns in the state of Texas there are a lot on this list and I feel like they probably make the record for most haunted towns in America but either way Wichita Falls is filled and I mean filled with haunting stories there's a site in town called The Witch's gate that used to be a mansion before it burned down in the 70s after the man of the house died his wife went a bit insane turning to things like witchcraft to try and cope she somehow burned the Mansion down killing her two sons withered another story claims the sons were robbed and it was the thief that set the house on fire the boys haunt the area till this day and I'm not surprised I'd be pissed too another famous one is the white sanitarium presently a private residence it used to be a mental hospital in the 20s after the place closed down people have seen a group of men sitting around a table playing cards perhaps the hospital's dead old staff I don't know but more famously they've seen a woman in nurses clothes roaming the building there's also Pinky's cave which is a three mile drainage ditch and kids used to hang out there years ago but now it's filled with Eerie sounds and homeless people as well as the ghost of a woman and her child who drowned inside the tunnel during a storm coming in at number nine is pluckley Kent pluckley is a small village in Kent that was named the most haunted village in England by Guinness World Records in 1989. so I don't want to over hype it but at the same time it clearly deserves the hype it's said that 12 to 16 ghosts taunt the village and the surrounding areas the list includes a screaming man who worked at the village brickworks and fell to his death another is a Highwayman who was pinned to a tree with a sword that tree was soon named fright corner and that's where his ghost looms every day the Watercress woman is the ghost of a woman who used to sit on a bridge drinking gin and smoking her pipe while selling Watercress you'd assume she drowned in the river she sat near but the reality was a lot more Grim it said she dropped Jen all over herself and accidentally set herself a light on the bridge there's also the ghost of a principal who hung himself and was found by his students on LV Farm which dates back to 1406 that's the ghost of Edward Brett who shot himself in the dairy his last words to his wife were I will do it and that's what can be heard whispered around the farm then of course if we're more generic there's the white lady and the red lady because make no mistake there is always a white lady ghost in every list that's I'm getting I don't already know at number eight we have Savannah Georgia apparently it's widespread knowledge that Savannah is the most haunted city in America and thankfully I've never been the town was given this title because literally every building in the town is haunted like everyone every building has a story every building has its own ghost it's like Savannah is more for the ghost than it is for the living the Hamilton Turner Inn is home to the ghost of a man smoking a cigar on its roof as well as little children whose children are they God knows dubbed one of the best haunted hotels in the U.S because clearly that's a real category the Marshall house was a hotel that ended up being used as a hospital Thrice in its history and thus you can imagine all the dead patients as ghosts running around 1790 in and a restaurant is the home of a scorned woman called Anna who haunts the upstairs guest rooms waiting for her loss to love but why is Savannah so haunted let's go back in history the town has been the site of many and many atrocities the siege of Savannah that killed 240 people left people thinking unsettled soldiers still lingered there Savannah's also been the site of a yellow fever epidemic so that's a lot of people dead just there in 1820 there was a massive fire in town that destroyed 500 buildings and there was an even bigger fire 25 years prior that destroyed half that number the people that died in those fires have been linked to the house as they occupied and let's not forget the countless murders that have taken place there as well filling our number seven slot is Jerome Arizona mining town Jerome is known as the wickedest town the West for its brothels gambling and heavy drinking miners the town itself actually burned down three times in three years at the end of the 1800s at its peak population was fifteen thousand it then shrank to 50 people in the 50s and currently it's 450 people inside the town the Jerome Grand Hotel adds to the hauntings tenfold before it was a hotel it was the United birthday hospital where dozens of people died during the Great Spanish influenza coughs breathing the lights flicking doors opening a little child running on the third floor either laughing or crying it has it all sometimes the Little Ghost just stays at the foot of a guest's bed and stares at them all night the sounds of newborn babies crying and many guests have even spoken to the front desk about it out of concern but then they find out it's coming from an empty room a maintenance man named Claude Harvey was found under the elevator murdered in the 30s and his ghost wanders around the hotel as well there's even a ghost cat at this hotel can you imagine I could go on but I think you get the picture I've been coming for tourism or to chase Ghosts no one really visits Jerome anymore sadly now at number six is Helltown Ohio founded in 1806 and formerly called Boston this place used to be the oldest village in Summit County helthan was the victim of Disappearing Forest land when President Ford let the national park jurisdiction expropriate land to make Parks The NPS started buying properties of locals in Helltown and they were pissed they even wrote now we know how the Indians felt all over their houses which I feel is a bit inappropriate but either way that was all for nothing the plan fell through in the end and the village was abandoned things went wrong in 1985 when Rangers visited kregc dump nearby and left covered in rashes and sick apparently the dump was highly toxic because chemicals were never disposed off properly that's also the um the issue of the um Satanist Church equipped with upside down crosses and all human and animal sacrifices even took place there and that's not all there was even an escaped mental patient in the woods in the town that killed a Bus full of children and that bus is still there haunted by the ghost murder had passed there's even a mutated snake in the town known as the peninsula python so it's safe to say the town lives up to its name and has way too much going on coming in at number five is Granbury Texas this one's a bit of a small one in 2010 their population wasn't even 8 000 so I mean it's an intimate little town but regardless of that it's been the home for many Infamous people over the years Davey Crockett's wife Elizabeth moved their post to Texas Revolution and Jesse James is even buried in the city of Granbury Cemetery Billy the Kid apparently moved there too after faking his own death but the biggest haunted appeal of Granbury is John Cena Helen he moved there in the 1870s to teach and would quote Shakespeare all the time but people think John Saint Helen was actually John Wilkes Booth the man who assassinated Abraham Lincoln apparently he died in a bar fire and police through Booth's body into the Potomac River others say he was assigned a new identity after the assassination I mean in town he walked with a strange limp and had a Southern accent so people were wary of him on his deathbed he did confess to a priest that he was in fog John Wilkes Booth and told him where he could find the gun that killed Abe but he didn't die that day he fled the city but it said that when he did finally die wherever that was he came back to Granbury the Grand Prix opera house is haunted by him now and you can hear him quoting Shakespeare all the time some things never change at number four is Galveston Texas this island City's residents are so used to seeing ghosts around that honestly they don't even bat an eyelid anymore during the early 1900s the city opened the Galvez hotel to honor military leader Bernardo de Galvez and they commissioned a giant portrait of him to go in its Lobby soon after the Galvis hotel opened what if I told you that someone out there really thought it was a good idea to write a book that is for children but it tells them how to summon demons I mean mean listen for years there's been urban legends like Bloody Mary and Charlie Charlie which of course tell us instructions on how to summon those respective demons but urban legends are part of being a child it's spooky stories to share first friend was telling the truth then a while after that spider is on a video chat with a friend and they are talking about the Paranormal when they both see something run across the screen they chalk it up to being a glitch and spider starts telling this friend about the lady and then spider begins to get extremely dizzy like they're about to pass out after it goes away spider tells their friend that they're okay and the front replies that they were out of it for at least a full minute and that he could feel that someone was there trying to hurt spider I'm in the end I'm just really glad that spider and all of the friends ended up being okay and I really hope they found a way to get rid of that demon lady in at number 5 spot today we have the meditation this story comes from someone online who starts off by explaining that they accidentally summoned a demon once and it was a huge mistake they say that it all started when they were meditating with some stones that a friend had given them they say that the stones were polished and given to them in a medicine bag when they went to meditate they were holding four in each hand just letting their mind wander when they felt with their sister and one night they had a couple good friends over to hang out and play around with a Ouija board which is always the start of a good Demon story a had read about people encountering an entity called Zozo and a really just wanted some proof that things exist beyond our Physical Realm so they really wanted to use the Ouija board everyone places their hand on the planchette and a calls out to Zozo it took a few attempts before anything happened but then the planchette began to move in figure eights no matter what was asked it just kept moving in this pattern until it finally spelled out m-a-m-a a kept asking who they were talking to and eventually they spelled out Zozo and then things really escalated the planchette was taken to the letters to spell out kill you and when a asked who they spelled out one of the friends names they didn't take it seriously and kept asking more questions and one friend made the mistake of insulting Zozo the planchette begins frantically moving through the alphabet backwards over and over before it stops then the energy in the room completely drops and a knows that this means that Zozo has manifested itself suddenly a begins to laugh maniacally with no control over it a could feel zozo's presence inside and could feel Zozo turning all of this hatred and anger towards the friend that had been named before his emotion suddenly completely switched and they began crying uncontrollably before again suddenly snapping back to anger A's head turns involuntarily to look at the friend with a menacing grin as a pushes the planchette towards this friend the friends decide it's rightfully time to leave and shortly after they left a felt like they regained control again and zozo's presence had disappeared I'm very glad that nothing even crazier happened and that Zozo wasn't able to end up harming this friend in the end in a number three spot today we have Giuseppe tartini okay so this story is one that is kind of similar to nicolo's but even more strange Giuseppe was an Italian Ancient Mysterious Creatures violinist and composer who lived during the 1700s he went on to compose a song called The Devil's Trill Sonata and not only um and not only this but he also claimed to wake up one night to find Satan sitting on the edge of his bed playing the violin seems as though the devil really likes violence apparently what's impossible for most musicians apparently even today the Sonata is too difficult for many musicians to play which is why people believe that perhaps this story really was true in our number two spot today we have the gray skin demon this story comes from pink magic 724 on Reddit and it is about a night that they had a few years ago while still in college pink Magic's best friend of many years was exploded starting off in our number 10 spot we have Theophilus of Adena okay so to start off this list today we are taking it a little bit back all the way to 538 A.D theophyllis of Adeno was a cleric in the Roman Catholic church so basically one day he was elected to become the new bishop but he ended up denying the offer as it is said that he wanted a more Priestly sort of position instead of one with all of that power and responsibility it is said that he wanted the position of irk Deacon which would have seen him controlling where the donation money went so apparently in passing on this bishop position he thought that if he gave this bishop position to his rival then his rival should at least be grateful enough to give him the position he wanted but of course that did not happen the new bishop gave away the seat that Theo wanted and instead gave him the position of being a humble cleric this made Theo super angry and this is when he thought that maybe the church isn't as holy as he once thought they were this is when he decided to summon the help of Satan he ended up signing a contract with Satan in his own own blood he denounced Jesus and the Virgin Mary and it is said that with the help of Satan he was once again voted into the bishop position and this time he accepted at this point in time it is said that he felt so guilty he confessed to this deal with the devil and the priest who he confessed to decided that they should burn the blood-signed contract for a second Theo looked up but then suddenly he collapsed and died many people believed that it was because he had broken his contract with Satan in our number nine spot today we have woken up this story comes from someone named Justin and one night Justin and some friends decided to try their hand at contacting the spirit world through a Ouija board they began to ask questions but instead of the planchette moving to certain letters it began to move to all four corners of the board making a sort of have Aleister Crowley this man is quite well known for being the leader of an occult group and this really does step back even into his childhood it is said that quite early on Alistair started calling himself the Beast and the Antichrist and he is even quoted as saying that God and Satan fought over his soul in one of his books he wrote quote I was in the death struggle with self God and Satan fought for my soul those three long hours God conquered now I have only one doubt left which of the twain was God many people believe that perhaps he made a deal with Satan but it is possible that these are just Rumblings based on alistar's teachings and beliefs in our number seven spot today we have the basement this story comes from someone named Vince and it has to do with a Time time he played with a Ouija board he didn't really expect much to happen and was just sort of going along with it but during the time using the board the lights began to Flicker and the air around Vince and his friends got quite cold this is when they knew that something more serious was going on the demon began to communicate with them through the board and it told them its name which Vince says seems like a sort of Russian name when they asked how the dark Spirit got there they explained that they had been killed Vince explains that he and his friends took a break from the board but they didn't remember to close the circle before they left which if you're not familiar with Ouija boards is a huge mistake once they all returned back to the basement where they left the board they could feel the heavy energy in the room and they came to find that everything was in complete disarray books were thrown about things were sprawled on the floor but the only thing that hadn't been touched was the board which still sat perfectly still in the center of the room just how they had left it Victor ends his story by saying quote upon looking at a mirror that we had near nearby the eye of the Ouija board was moving sporadically in its reflection in our number six spot today we have the text okay so this story isn't like others on this list and it's one of the strangest I've ever heard so basically this person who was you know on a dating app receives a text message one day from one of the guys that they were talking to that says quote I've been thinking about summoning Satan to impress you okay personally I would run the other way but turns out these are texts some people are just waiting around to receive when they followed up the text the person said again quote no I'm not kidding unless I told you when I was drunk I legitimately sold my soul to him in January 2013. turns out this guy really meant it of course this person needed to know more and as it turns out they got the full story so basically this guy explained the entire procedure of selling your soul he said that it's simple you just have to write a letter sign it in your blood perform a sort of ritual and then some sort of physical Mark will show up on your body like a scratch and according to this guy your wishes just come true Apparently after this guy had done all of that he said that he laughed in a voice that wasn't his own and since then all of his desires have been coming true this story is weird but apparently it really is that easy definitely wouldn't recommend trying it though just in case you know in our number five spot today we have the entity this story starts off hot when the Storyteller explains that they have used a Ouija board and since doing so they clearly have opened their home up to some sort of evil entity who hasn't exactly been kind they say quote it started out with that feeling like you're being watched and doors are closing and you hear footsteps on the hardwood when you're home alone and it progressed slowly into being kept awake by something shaking the bed or pulling off your covers sometimes even Whispering Your Name the board would disappear for days on end then show up in places you never would have put it I became obsessed with it then it was a black mass in the corner of the room or the silhouette of a man watching you from the doorway after that it escalated pretty quickly I had my hair pulled fingers pricked scratched they go on to explain that sometimes while they're trying to sleep they find themselves unable to move and can feel the entity whispering in their ear and what they say is Latin they explained that they have since had their house blessed and are hoping that this keeps the demon at Bay in our number 4 spot today we have Jack Parsons Jack was a man who was born just a few years prior to the Wright brothers flying the first airplane and being born at a time like that had him growing up dreaming of and reading sci-fi novels about rocket ships taking people to space it is said that this love of rocket ships and these dreams of going to space are what led to him summoning the devil in order to make a deal Jack wanted to sell his soul in exchange for a rocket ship this deal didn't end up working but Jack continued to study science as he Grew Older later Creepiest Urban Legends in his life he stumbled upon the teachings of Aleister Crowley that we talked about before and this is when he tried his hand at summoning things again this time he tried to Summit a goddess named Babylon that was said to possibly help men get to the moon one day technically in some ways it worked because Jack Parsons ended up helping create the jet fuel that is said to still be used today maybe it was the deal confessed he said he had nine years prior and that he regretted it very much now and actually wanted an exorcism they demanded to know if he was a practicing witch but in the end it was decided that he was not and that instead the devil just had a very strong hold on him the local priest began giving Kristoff exorcisms and during these sessions Christoph explained that he had these intense Visions where he was coming face to face with the devil who was in the form of a dragon the dragon was holding the contract that held Kristoff's soul and this is when he was able to rip it out of the dragon's Talons when he woke up it seemed as though Pete was cured after this he began painting pictures of the devil and he even painted a story with multiple panels that told the story of how he sold his soul and how they helped him get it back in our number one spot today we have this is not a game this story is said to have taken place over a decade ago and it starts off when the storyteller's sister had some friends over and they were in the basement watching a scary movie when they decided to start playing around with a Ouija board things weren't going exactly as they playing around starting off in our number 10 spot we have the dreams this is a story from somebody named Jake p and they wrote quote my buddy and I found a Ouija board at my girlfriend's house we were really bored so we went to this graveyard by my house to see if it would actually work as suspected nothing happened we brought the board back to my house and didn't think anything of it I feel like that's like the classic story just when the Ouija board hears you talking smack that's when things always start to go crazy though Jake continues on saying quote the next day strange things began happening out of nowhere my friends started having sleep paralysis every time he spent the night at my house despite never having it before the first time he saw a tall woman with long black hair standing in the corner of the room facing the wall the next time he was asleep on the couch and he saw the same woman standing at my Open Door or looking directly into my room I don't know what demon lady they summoned but I hope they did everything they could to get rid of her sounds an awful lot like the bent neck lady and we all know how well that went in our number nine spot today we have Joe Joe isn't necessarily the first name that comes to my mind when making a list of spooky demons but this story that was posted on Reddit might just make me think a little differently they explained that a few months ago one of their friends brought over a Ouija board there were around five of them at the sleepover and they all began playing around with it and asking questions and that is when they met Joe after about an hour of questions and answers with Joe one of the girls asks Joe are you a bad Spirit Joe answered and oh okay that's good but then Joe spelled out h-i-m the girls asked him who he was talking about and that's when he spelled out the words he's coming and started to spell out Zozo which if you aren't familiar is one of the worst Ouija board demons you could possibly encounter that ended up being the end of the Ouija board experience it's for the girls that night because how terrifying but they decided in the morning to try again this time they began speaking to someone who apparently claimed to be Joe's wife they asked her if Joe was a bad Spirit to which she quickly replied y-e-s in our number eight spot today we have the dog this story starts off with the Storyteller who we'll call Alicia and her friends playing with a Ouija board in the backyard she explains that they did end up contacting someone and this is when one of the friends who was also there decides that it would be a good idea to insult the name of this entity I don't know about you but I certainly would never risk it I'm not trying to be haunted for the rest of my life and my afterlife just because I thought I was smug anyway when the friend throws this insult out the vents behind them immediately starts to Rattle this was enough to convince them that it was time to pack up and head back inside they all headed for the door but Alicia's dog stopped at the bottom of the stairs which was already unusual behavior when they turned to look at the dog they found him standing there just snarling looking at something that he could see out in the darkness I'm sure hoping that the person learned not to insult people who lay on the other side in our number 7 spot today we have Blanche this story comes from the Reddit user turtle shell magic and it involves their friends M and L so one night the three of them were at M's house and decided to crack open the good old Ouija board for a little spooky fun they contacted some sort of spirit whose name was Blanche and who lived sometime in the 1800s and everything was going well until M asked Blanche how they died and she replied with the word killing em asked how they had been killed and Blanche said not I from there everything started to get really heavy and the room just like felt different all of a sudden the board was ripped from their hands and went flying across the room they stopped playing immediately but I don't think that they closed everything properly after this incident M's mom passed away just a week after from an illness that no one knew she had not long after this Ella's mom was hospitalized and then shortly after that Turtle Shell's mom had to have emergency surgery maybe this was all just some horrible horrible coincidence but turtle shell says that since then they have experienced things that they think are directly related to what happened that night things like hearing voices Dark Shadows hearing footsteps they find themselves wondering if they're still haunted despite it having been nine years since that night in our number six spot today we have the devil this is a story that is actually the one that caused this person to swear off Ouija boards for the rest of their life they say the experience was so terrifying it made them completely lose interest they explained that halfway through their session in this particular circumstance they ended up contacting a new spirit who claimed to be the devil I personally would like to hang up that call for sure especially when this person explains that the spirit seemed to be annoyed that it was being disturbed like so sorry no problem I'll go the Storyteller explains that after receiving several messages from the spirit that said please stop and then stop which for the wreck record I would have listened to the first time but apparently they just kept going because they say that suddenly the temperature dropped just like you see in the movies from here this Spirit gave them a message that read if you do not stop now I will fill the room with the most evil spirits they definitely took that one seriously and decided it was best to stop and simply has never gone back in our number 5 spot today we have the thrifting find one day this Reddit user found a real old school wooden Ouija board at a thrift store I probably would have run in the opposite direction but they ended up purchasing it later that evening they and a friend decided to try it out and asked a few questions but never got a response they of course got throughout their life even after moving to different homes they've seen things in the places they live that seem to be following them anywhere they go in our number one spot today we have ICU this story comes from a Reddit user called no springs one day they were at a friend's house having fun and goofing around and they decided to bring out a Ouija board they weren't getting very many results and weren't really taking it seriously but then they got a message from the board saying I can see you through the window and then another after that that said I can see you through his eyes there was a small window in the basement room they were in and through that window they could see the backyard the driveway and the woods that lay behind it they continued to ask the spirit questions and ended up getting an answer that said I'm under the car somehow they were able to muster up the nerve to go and check under the car with flashlights when they looked they found a huge black stray cat hissing this obviously terrified them and they all ran back into the house as quickly as possible at the exact moment they get back inside the house all of the Power shuts off the lights go out and it's completely dark after that it's safe to say that they stayed up all night unable to sleep and they definitely never played with a Ouija board again.
starting off in our number 10 spot we have Ed when Tammy was a kid her and her sister would often use Ouija boards and it always seemed that they would end up communicating with the same Spirit who was named ed apparently wasn't super nice because he would continually threaten their younger brother during this time and he was never with them during the times that they were using the board so it was definitely weird eventually they got creeped out enough that they got rid of the board and just put Ed behind them a few years later when their little brother got older he had used a Ouija board with his friend a couple of times and he came home to tell his older sisters a story that had him freaked out he explained that every time him and his friend used the board there kept being a spirit named ed who was threatening him apparently their mother ended up Banning the use of Ouija boards in their house which really is the right move in her number nine spot today we have the book okay so what if I told you that someone out there really thought it was a good idea to write a book that is for children but it tells them how to summon demons I mean mean listen for years there's been urban legends like Bloody Mary and Charlie Charlie which of course tell us instructions on how to summon those respective demons but urban legends are part of being a child it's spooky stories to share amongst friends but this book really takes things to an entirely new level many who are more well-versed in the worlds of Witchcraft and the Paranormal have explained that this book written by Aaron Layton is basically a grimoire it contains 72 different demons that can be conjured by those who read it for their own personal gain which is basically the definition of black magic the book not only includes these sort of cute drawings of creepy demons but it also includes the symbols for each demon which some have learned is also a very bad sign in our number nine spot today we have the room this story comes from an anonymous source but we'll call them Alex Alex and their fiance who will call Sam were given a Ouija board that their friend had apparently found on the side of the road which I feel like is the worst place to find a new Ouija board Alex and Sam decided to use it one night and begin to ask questions they asked who was with them and if they were an angel demon or Spirit it replied that their name was Mo and that they were a demon by your creation Alex and Sam were obviously freaked out and just asked a few more simple questions like what is your favorite poster of ours on the wall Mo replied with bloody mess Alex and Sam had a kiss photo with Gene Simmons on it that had blood everywhere on it Alex pointed to that poster and asked this one Mo said yes Alex and Sam had a few skeleton heads that sat on their TV so they asked Mo to move the skeleton head so that they could have proof Mo was real Mo said to close their eyes so they did a few seconds later all of the skulls on the TV had moved to be facing them only Sam and Alex were in the room at the time and they had been sitting right next to each other which would have made it impossible for one of them to be pranking the other in our number 7 spot today we have Nicolo Paganini Nicola was a professional violin Ernest was born in 1782 his parents began to send him to lessons when he was just five years old and by age 15 he was already touring the world because he was so talented what's interesting about Nicolo and his story other than his obvious musical genius however is the rumors surrounding his talent and subsequent recognition According to some people believe that his own mother summoned the devil in order for her son to be the extreme talent that He is there are many modern diagnosis that could potentially explain some of what made Nicolo so talented and I mean we all know quite well that sometimes people are just born with extreme talent but of course in the early 1800s people in their imagination certainly ran wild the final reason why people believe he may have made a deal with the Devil is because shortly before his death he was quite sick the doctors had a feeling he was nearing death so they sent in a priest to pray over him when he first saw the priest it has said that he freaked out and sent the priest away many people believe that him pushing the priest away was only a confirmation of the fact that he was working with the devil in our number six spot today we have the lady ghost demon this story comes from the Reddit user's seven leg spider and they really just dive in basically for several years spider saw what they thought was just a lady ghost every night at the door of the closet it happened for so long that spider just got used to it and even started saying good night to her spider says she didn't look bad or rotten she was just a lady with pale skin and dark hair anyway after a few years of this spider finally tells a friend at school about the lady he of course didn't believe a story right away but the next day at school he tells spider that this lady tried to hurt him while he was sleeping now spider didn't believe the friend and thought he was just playing a prank so more time goes by and spider decides to tell another friend about the lady and the same thing happens where the next time she comes and tells spider that the lady had tried to hurt her while she was sleeping the first friend and the second friend didn't know each other so it's not like they could have been conspiring which made spider believe his first friend was telling the truth then a while after that spider is on a video chat with a friend and they are talking about the Paranormal when they both see something run across the screen they chalk it up to being a glitch and spider starts telling this friend about the lady and then spider begins to get extremely dizzy like they're about to pass out after it goes away spider tells their friend that they're okay and the front replies that they were out of it for at least a full minute and that he could feel that someone was there trying to hurt spider I'm in the end I'm just really glad that spider and all of the friends ended up being okay and I really hope they found a way to get rid of that demon lady in at number 5 spot today we have the meditation this story comes from someone online who starts off by explaining that they accidentally summoned a demon once and it was a huge mistake they say that it all started when they were meditating with some stones that a friend had given them they say that the stones were polished and given to them in a medicine bag when they went to meditate they were holding four in each hand just letting their mind wander when they felt something or someone slam into their back after this they heard demonic laughter and a bunch of banging upstairs when there shouldn't have been anyone up there they immediately blew out their candle the sound of children laughing in their home despite no children being there and things would suddenly disappear only to be found later in places that had already been checked they finished this story by saying that they ended up fleeing the house one night and burning it down never to look back I'm gonna be honest not sure about the whole burning the house down thing seems maybe a little illegal but I guess All is fair in the world of demonology in our number four spot today we have Zozo this story comes from the Reddit user archaic Alchemy who we'll call a when a was 22 they were staying with their sister and one night they had a couple good friends over to hang out and play around with a Ouija board which is always the start of a good Demon story a had read about people encountering an entity called Zozo and a really just wanted some proof that things exist beyond our Physical Realm so they really wanted to use the Ouija board everyone places their hand on the planchette and a calls out to Zozo it took a few attempts before anything happened but then the planchette began to move in figure eights no matter what was asked it just kept moving in this pattern until it finally spelled out m-a-m-a a kept asking who they were talking to and eventually they spelled out Zozo and then things really escalated the planchette was taken to the letters to spell out kill you and when a asked who they spelled out one of the friends names they didn't take it seriously and kept asking more questions and one friend made the mistake of insulting Zozo the planchette begins frantically moving through the alphabet backwards over and over before it stops then the energy in the room completely drops and a knows that this means that Zozo has manifested itself suddenly a begins to laugh maniacally with no control over it a could feel zozo's presence inside and could feel Zozo turning all of this hatred and anger towards the friend that had been named before his emotion suddenly completely switched and they began crying uncontrollably before again suddenly snapping back to anger A's head turns involuntarily to look at the friend with a menacing grin as a pushes the planchette towards this friend the friends decide it's rightfully time to leave and shortly after they left a felt like they regained control again and zozo's presence had disappeared I'm very glad that nothing even crazier happened and that Zozo wasn't able to end up harming this friend in the end in a number three spot today we have Giuseppe tartini okay so this story is one that is kind of similar to nicolo's but even more strange Giuseppe was an Italian Ancient Mysterious Creatures violinist and composer who lived during the 1700s he went on to compose a song called The Devil's Trill Sonata and not only um and not only this but he also claimed to wake up one night to find Satan sitting on the edge of his bed playing the violin seems as though the devil really likes violence apparently what's extremely curious is that after this alleged encounter it is said that Giuseppe's violin skills hit Heights never seen before he was able to suddenly play extremely complicated trills that are impossible for most musicians apparently even today the Sonata is too difficult for many musicians to play which is why people believe that perhaps this story really was true in our number two spot today we have the gray skin demon this story comes from pink magic 724 on Reddit and it is about a night that they had a few years ago while still in college pink Magic's best friend of many years was in town so they went out for a dinner to catch up and spend some time together they of course ended up getting a bit caught up as best friends do and before they know it it's around 2 A.M and turns their head and looks out the window into the car next to them this is when she sees the person next to them is looking directly back at them but this person has gray skin completely black eyes with no white and they are smiling but their teeth are long and sharp whoever or whatever this thing is will not break eye contact pink magic tries to scream but no sound will come out I've had that Nightmare Before and eventually the friend sees this creature too and immediately speeds out of there to this day neither of them like to talk about it and neither of them are quite sure what exactly exploded starting off in our number 10 spot we have Theophilus of Adena okay so to start off this list today we are taking it a little bit back all the way to 538 A.D theophyllis of Adeno was a cleric in the Roman Catholic church so basically one day he was elected to become the new bishop but he ended up denying the offer as it is said that he wanted a more Priestly sort of position instead of one with all of that power and responsibility it is said that he wanted the position of irk Deacon which would have seen him controlling where the donation money went so apparently in passing on this bishop position he thought that if he gave this bishop position to his rival then his rival should at least be grateful enough to give him the position he wanted but of course that did not happen the new bishop gave away the seat that Theo wanted and instead gave him the position of being a humble cleric this made Theo super angry and this is when he thought that maybe the church isn't as holy as he once thought they were this is when he decided to summon the help of Satan he ended up signing a contract with Satan in his own own blood he denounced Jesus and the Virgin Mary and it is said that with the help of Satan he was once again voted into the bishop position and this time he accepted at this point in time it is said that he felt so guilty he confessed to this deal with the devil and the priest who he confessed to decided that they should burn the blood-signed contract for a second Theo looked up but then suddenly he collapsed and died many people believed that it was because he calling himself the Beast and the Antichrist and he is even quoted as saying that God and Satan fought over his soul in one of his books he wrote quote I was in the death struggle with self God and Satan fought for my soul those three long hours God conquered now I have only one doubt left which of the twain was God many people believe that perhaps he made a deal with Satan but it is possible that these are just Rumblings based on alistar's teachings and beliefs in our number seven spot today we have the basement this story comes from someone named Vince and it has to do with a Time time he played with a Ouija board he didn't really expect much to happen and was just sort of going along with it but during the time using the board the lights began to Flicker and the air around Vince basically this person who was you know on a dating app receives a text message one day from one of the guys that they were talking to that says quote I've been thinking about summoning Satan to impress you okay personally I would run the other way but turns out these are texts some people are just waiting around to receive when they followed up the text the person said again quote no I'm not kidding unless I told you when I was drunk I legitimately sold my soul to him in January 2013. turns out this guy really meant it of course this person needed to know more and as it turns out they got the full story so basically this guy explained the entire procedure of selling your soul he said that it's simple you just have to write a letter sign it in your blood perform a sort of ritual and then some sort of physical Mark will show up on your body like a scratch and according to this guy your wishes just come true Apparently after this guy had done all of that he said that he laughed in a voice that wasn't his own and since then all of his desires have been coming true this story is weird but apparently it really is that easy definitely wouldn't recommend trying it though just in his job that he had been commissioned by The Nobles to do this work there were Rumblings about how he may have sold his soul to the devil but no one was sure of it until it is said that Christoph confessed he said he had nine years prior and that he regretted it very much now and actually wanted an exorcism they demanded to know if he was a practicing witch but in the end it was decided that he was not and that instead the devil just had a very strong hold on him the local priest began giving Kristoff exorcisms and during these sessions Christoph explained that he had these intense Visions where he was coming face to face with the devil who was in the form of a dragon the dragon was holding the contract that held Kristoff's soul and this is when he was able to rip it out of the dragon's Talons when he woke up it seemed as though Pete was cured after this he began painting pictures of the devil and he even painted a story with multiple panels that told the story of how he sold his soul and how they helped him get it back in our number one spot today we have this is not a game this story is said to have taken place over a decade ago and it starts off when the storyteller's sister had some friends over and they were in the basement watching a scary movie when they decided to start playing around with a Ouija board things weren't going exactly as they anticipated and they all started getting frustrated at the board and began to hurl some insults toward it calling it fake and things like that at this point they turned their attention back to the movie and away from the board but it soon became clear that someone was in fact listening all of a sudden the lights and all of the electricity goes out and it's just pitch black the TV suddenly turns back on but it's just blaring static the TV shuts off again and turns back on but it's just a black screen suddenly words appear on this screen that reads this is not a game anymore they all ran out of the house as quickly as they could and that was definitely the last time any of them touched a Ouija board it isn't exactly clear who or what they summoned but whatever it was it certainly was not playing around starting off in our number 10 spot we have the dreams this is a story from somebody named Jake p and they wrote quote my buddy and I found a Ouija board at my girlfriend's house we were really bored so we went to this graveyard by my house to see if it would actually work as suspected nothing happened we brought the board back to my house and didn't think anything of it I feel like that's like the classic story just when the Ouija board hears you talking smack that's when things always start to go crazy though Jake continues on saying quote the next day strange things began happening out of nowhere my friends started having sleep paralysis every time he spent the night at my house despite never having it before the first time he saw a tall woman with long black hair standing in the corner of the room facing the wall the next time he was asleep on the couch and he saw the same woman standing at my Open Door or looking directly into my room I don't know what demon lady they summoned but I hope they did everything they could to get rid of her sounds an awful lot like the bent neck lady and we all know how well that went in our number nine spot today we have Joe Joe isn't necessarily the first name that comes to my mind when making a list of spooky demons but this story that was posted on Reddit might just make me think a little differently they explained that a few months ago one of their friends brought over a Ouija board there were around five of them at the sleepover and they all began playing around with it and asking questions and that is when they met Joe after about an hour of questions and answers with Joe one of the girls asks Joe are you a bad Spirit Joe answered and oh okay that's good but then Joe spelled out h-i-m the girls asked him who he was talking about and that's when he spelled out the words he's coming and started to spell out Zozo which if you aren't familiar is one of the worst Ouija board demons you could possibly encounter that ended up being the end of the Ouija board experience it's for the girls that night because how terrifying but they decided in the morning to try again this time they began speaking to someone who apparently claimed to be Joe's wife they asked her if Joe was a bad Spirit to which she quickly replied y-e-s in our number eight spot today we have the dog this story starts off with the Storyteller who we'll call Alicia and her friends playing with a Ouija board in the backyard she explains that they did end up contacting someone and this is when one of the friends who was also there decides that it would be a good idea to insult the name of this entity I don't know about you but I certainly would never risk it I'm not trying to be haunted for the rest of my life and my afterlife just because I thought I was smug anyway when the friend throws this insult out the vents behind them immediately starts to Rattle this was enough to convince them that it was time to pack up and head back inside they all headed for the door but Alicia's dog stopped at the bottom of the stairs which was already unusual behavior when they turned to look at the dog they found him standing there just snarling looking at something that he could see out in the darkness I'm sure hoping that the person learned not to insult people who lay on the other side in our number 7 spot today we have Blanche this story comes from the Reddit user turtle shell magic and it involves their friends M and L so one night the three of them were at M's house and decided to crack open the good old Ouija board for a little spooky fun they contacted some sort of spirit whose name was Blanche and who lived sometime in the 1800s and everything was going well until M asked Blanche how they died and she replied with the word killing em asked how they had been killed and Blanche said not I from there everything started to get really heavy and the room just like felt different all of a sudden the board was ripped from their hands and went flying across the room they stopped playing immediately but I don't think that they closed everything properly after this incident M's mom passed away just a week after from an illness that no one knew she had not long after this Ella's mom was hospitalized and then shortly after that Turtle Shell's mom had to have emergency surgery maybe this was all just some horrible horrible coincidence but turtle shell says that since then they have experienced things that they think are directly related to what happened that night things like hearing voices Dark Shadows hearing footsteps they find themselves wondering if they're still haunted despite it having been nine years since that night in our number six spot today we have the devil this is a story that is actually the one that caused this person to swear off Ouija boards for the rest of their life they say the experience was so terrifying it made them completely lose interest they explained that halfway through their session in this particular circumstance they ended up contacting a new spirit who claimed to be the devil I personally would like to hang up that call for sure especially when this person explains that the spirit seemed to be annoyed that it was being disturbed like so sorry no problem I'll go the Storyteller explains that after receiving several messages from the spirit that said please stop and then stop which for the wreck record I would have listened to the first time but apparently they just kept going because they say that suddenly the temperature dropped just like you see in the movies from here this Spirit gave them a message that read if you do not stop now I will fill the room with the most evil spirits they definitely took that one seriously and decided it was best to stop and simply has never gone back in our number 5 spot today we have the thrifting find one day this Reddit user found a real old school wooden Ouija board at a thrift store I probably would have run in the opposite direction but they ended up purchasing it later that evening they and a friend decided to try it out and asked a few questions but never got a response they of course got bored and left the Ouija board out on the bed and headed out of the house to go and get some snacks this was all fine until they came back to the house when they got back they realized that the plan chat was now moving but completely on its own the word foul was being spelled out over and over again and the two just stared at it in absolute awe eventually they grabbed the board broke it in half and covered it with salt but before they got rid of it in a safe place I definitely think that experience was probably the last time they ever used a Ouija board in our number four spot today we have persistence this story is from someone with a username Amara Lachey and they wrote quote my cousin was heading to a party with a Ouija board in the trunk of her car for all of us to use on the way to the party she got in a car wreck she was fine but her car was totaled so obviously instead of going to the party she went back home when she opened her closet to get ready for bed the board was somehow back in the closet she burned it after that honestly that is the only truly good response to having something like that happen I'm just glad she was okay and hopefully that board never came said that it flew right out of his hand and smashed against the wall this happened when he was a teenager but since then nothing has been the same they explained that from then on in the night they could feel something looking at them from the darkest corner of their room like some sort of shadowy figure you can't really see because it's dark and it's night time but you know it's there throughout their life even after moving to different homes they've seen things in the places they live that seem to be following them anywhere they go in our number one spot today we have ICU this story comes from a Reddit user called no springs one day they were at a friend's house having fun and goofing around and they decided to bring out a Ouija board they weren't getting very many results and weren't really taking it seriously but then they got a message from the board saying I can see you through the window and then another after that that said I can see you through his eyes there was a small window in the basement room they were in and through that window they could see the backyard the driveway and the woods that lay behind it they continued to ask the spirit questions and ended up getting an answer that said I'm under the car somehow they were able to muster up the nerve to go and check under the car with flashlights when they looked they found a huge black stray cat hissing when it comes to the infinite expanse of space I personally choose not to question a lot of it space is terrifying and there is so much in space that could destroy our entire planet we could do different ways in comic books in Marvel they say that we are in a version of the cosmos meaning there was a previous version that ended up getting destroyed and remade but if that's the case what's doing the destroying and the remaking if nothing came before then what the heck caused the Big Bang in the first place if there was something before what would that do to the way we think about the potentially exist or does in fact exist in fact we have no hard scientific evidence that any life exists outside of Earth although with that planet we actually just can't see that far down onto like the surface of the planet to see what's going on so it could be there we just can't see it although we are finding some fun stuff on Mars that may say otherwise the time may be drawing closer and closer to when science confirms that there is life elsewhere in our solar system or the Galaxy or at least somewhere in the universe and I really hope I'm alive for that the thing that gets me though is if whatever is out there isn't Advanced enough to see us too and if it is Advanced enough to see us then is it Advanced enough to make it here and if that's the case then um we are not as advanced as that and we should stand no chance in defending ourselves against something like that assuming they would want to hurt us which as humans we would just assume they would and if they didn't I think our stupid human brains wouldn't be able to handle the fear of not knowing and we do something dumb like attack them and then we'd be gone because we just can't stand up to that kind of thing you know what I'm saying that's all the time I've got I need a nap word to just sit down because that was a lot so I'll catch you on the flippy flop and stay safe out there and don't think about space too much foreign.
