Steak Soup
1 lb ground beef
3 c water
1 onion, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
2 carrots, sliced
1 14 1/2 oz can diced tomatoes
1/2 t pepper
1 10 oz package frozen mixed vegetables
2 t beef base granules
1/2 c butter
1/2 c
our
1. Brown and drain meat.
2. Put all ingredients except butter and
our into crock pot and cook for 8 hours on low or 4
hours on high.
3. Melt butter over medium heat and stir in
our until smooth.
4. Add mixture to soup and stir until thickened.
