after-school snack. You can top it with a little icing or some melted chocolate chips, or you can
add sprinkles or just a spoonful of jam. It’s always nice to share, so cut off a piece for a friend or
bake up a second one to share with your kitchen helper.
5 teaspoons fl our
1 tablespoon sugar
¼ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon oil
5 teaspoons milk
Preheat the Easy-Bake Oven by turning it on, or preheat
the toaster oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease and fl our a
single little cake pan.
In a small bowl, combine fl our, sugar and baking powder.
Add oil and milk and whisk with a fork. Pour batter into
the prepared pan. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes, until cake is
slightly golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Let cake
cool completely, then run a butter knife around the edge
and inver t to remove cake from pan. Top with the topping
of your choice.
Yield: 1 LIL’ CAKE
